Mystical allegory,
Ancient doctrines,
Darkness and a strange ordeal,
Initiation to secret orders,
Blind fold,
Sword to chest,
Hand on the Great Seal.

Sacred Writings,
Ruins of past glory,
Crumbling stones of old temples,
A blackened visage,
A monster,
Made by masons,
Marvellous and Malevolent.

Paintings,
Interpret symbolism,
Faithful,
Inspired men work in secret,
Pages torn out,
Burned,
Cryptic emblems lost.

Alchemy,
Ceremony,
The illumination of man,
Soul turns to gold,
Indication of a true doctrine,
Reception,
Practice,
Concealment.
