Fate
by Sam M. Phillips

Incident incomprehensible,
Reprehensible role incontestable,
Contemptible cowering conman,
Veteran vestibule,
It’s incredible and dreadful
To feel your pull,
The full flamboyant power,
Flare and cower,
Flock and shower,
You glower,
Deep within,
Silver fish swim,
Gnaw and bore,
Blow away,
Aching,
Straining to contain and control,
Languishing soul,
Takes toll,
The germ generates an obnoxious role,
An obscure oblivion,
Odious ode
Calls from abhorrent abode,
Abide and be told
By aggregate aggression,
The red raw repression,
The aged agency affronts and afflicts,
The journey is fixed,
The river Styx,
Picks the path,
Executes the wrath
Of destiny and fate,
Soul irate,
But trapped,
And wrapped up by demon hands,
The taut strands,
Guide me in,
Endless din
Of my own voice
Crying for choice.
