Judgement
by Sam M. Phillips

Good, bad,
These divisions make me sad,
I am the yin yang monster,
Your righteousness the impostor.

Free will,
You cannot make me still,
Try to confine me if you can,
Your tests make me a man.

Moral divide,
From my own conscience I cannot hide,
I am the only judge,
From my opinion I will not budge.

Hate, love,
I am the peaceful dove,
Using my last breath,
To peck you all to death.

Push, shove,
Force me to love,
And see me turn on you,
I’m on fire and I’ll burn you too.

Leave me alone,
For my own sins I will atone,
God has its way,
You don’t have a say.
