Under The Sun
by Sam M. Phillips

I don’t want to go inside,
I will not hide,
Bide my time,
Rhyme shows it’s clear,
I have no reason to fear,
Angels steer me,
Peer into me,
Live through me,
They’ve proved to me
Life is magical,
The fantastical is tangible,
I’m able to reach
The lessons they teach,
They do not preach
And neither do I,
I just stare at the sky
And wonder why
I am so lucky to know
That we grow on and on,
Sing song into the infinite,
To me it’s definite,
My soul is large,
You can’t confine,
Line between us dissolves,
Solves so much,
Such happiness to be as one
With all things under the sun.
