Glamour
by Sam M. Phillips

Brain moves fast,
I cast my net,
Make a bet,
I’m the best yet,
I let it happen,
I’m a weapon,
I won’t be put upon.

I don armour
And attack glamour,
Hear the clamour
Of my steel,
Watch my enemies reel,
I deal a death blow,
I learn what they can’t know.

I glow,
Growing larger,
Chivalrous charger,
Levelled lance,
Every chance
To take on life
Despite internal strife.
