Worm
by Sam M. Phillips
I’d like to stop now
But you make me bow,
Wow me with the power you unleash,
Use it to pull my leash,
At least give me a rest,
I detest being your servant,
Furious savant
Writing font
To confront
Your form.
You worm
In again,
Clear a lane
In my neural mural,
My funeral
If I’m worn out,
No need to shout,
I’m about to stop,
Or else I’ll pop,
Crop is harvested,
You’ve visited,
It was nice,
Now your advice
Is heeded,
You’ve succeeded,
You’ve bled me dry,
Now why must you go on?
Your song on display,
Now I need you to go away.
