Number Sequence
by Sam M. Phillips

I travel through the vast places,
I unravel the last traces
Of spinning fragments
Using ethereal magnets,
Black hole stagnates,
Gravity grates
Against spinning disc,
Scattering pieces into fine mist.

Sun kissed delta rays,
Spectral prism splays,
Sprays singular beam
Into infinite dream,
A continuous stream
Of colours
And bending contours,
Shaped like a spiral,
I control it all
With a number sequence.

Consequence of creation,
Demarcation of digits,
The mind fidgets
To comprehend,
Cannot bend
To accommodate
The great torus,
Porous construct,
Created just to destruct.

We’re stuck in the centre,
Trying to enter
But unable,
We’re too unstable,
Cradle of life part of us,
Simultaneous spark,
A light in the dark,
Too bright to see
That it all begins with me.
