There’s no reason to despair,
I don’t even care if you stare,
I can escape and become unaware.

Blare of horn,
Feeling worn,
Can’t conform,
A vast storm
Breaks over my head.

Awaken the dead,
And ask for their assistance,
Through persistence
They concede,
I succeed
In making you bleed.

The deed done,
Now I run,
Gun thrown,
I’ve grown
Bold through audacity,
Never knew I had the capacity
To act this way.

Grey skies,
Soul denies
Any rest,
I detest
My black stigma,
I am miasma.

Corrupt,
I erupt,
Abrupt explosion,
Erosion of ideals,
None of this feels real,
I can’t deal
With this situation.

This lust must be my end,
Rules can’t bend,
Send me to jail,
Watch me fail
To control my desires.

All you liars,
Deniers of inner working,
The demons lurking,
Poking and goading
You to madness,
I taste your distress.

What a mess,
You’re even less
Than I had hoped,
Doped out brain,
Repeats again.

Always the same,
Cannot tame,
Or play the game,
I maim myself with a mace,
Obliterate any trace
Of evil.

I swivel
On the spot,
Coals beneath feet are hot,
Goals I move towards are not
Worth the effort.

I’m an affront
To divine nature,
I’m not mature,
I’m sure
To lure
Myself into a trap,
Sure to wrap
Myself in a net.

I set myself up,
Move to cut
Any ties,
My heart cries,
Wants to be good,
Like I know I should.
