Class Warfare
by Sam M. Phillips
Bloody backs and bored ears,
Society steers
Away from idleness
By pretending distress,
And putting stress
On those who don’t work.
.
Fears lurk
Beneath the surface,
Don’t give them a chance
To rise,
Just despise
Those that are different,
Make them your dependant,
So if they dissent
They can be sent
Back from where they came.
.
Tame them with money,
Honey wins more,
Let them eat it raw,
Enshrine in law
How to deal with the poor,
Sore losers,
Posers stand over them,
Worry about when
They will rise,
Bring about their demise.
.
Eyes glazed,
Amazed by their superiority,
Priority is to stand on top,
Stop the lower classes
From putting on their glasses,
Don’t let them see,
They’ll want what we
Have for themselves.
.
Pack the shelves
And give them the dole,
They can’t dig out of the hole,
Living week to week,
Keep them weak
With a handout,
And don’t let them know What it’s really about.
