Sadistic Policeman
by Sam M. Phillips
I’m cruel and self-serving,
Deserving of a dark fate,
I’m full of hate,
Sate my bloodlust
On those who trust
Me the most.
.
Coast along
In the wrong,
Death’s siren song,
Prong I poke
To provoke
Criminals to crime,
Then I’m there just in time
To arrest
Those I detest.
.
I’m the best
And brightest,
The mightiest
Force in the land,
Hand of the law.
.
Raw power I desire,
Fire the flame,
Blame the underclass,
Ask for more money,
Hypocrisy is funny
To me,
I see
Everything in black and white,
Might is right,
I have you in my sight.
.
Bite your head,
Wish you dead,
Kiss of dread
As I approach,
Reproach you with a gun,
I have my fun.
.
When all is said and done
This is just a lifestyle
I enjoy for a while,
A way to bring a smile
To my face.
.
Spray you with mace
Until every trace
Of humanity is lost,
Boss you around,
Shove you to the ground.
.
I’ve found so much joy
Being able to deploy
Weapons against my fellow man,
I know I can
Act like I’m above
Those I’m meant to love
Because I feel nothing.
.
Stuffing my pockets with bribes,
My mouth imbibes
A corpulent concoction,
I exist for corruption.
.
Eruption of injustice,
You don’t notice
Your own power,
I make you cower,
Shower of pain
To make you think again.
.
Strain I cause
Doesn’t drive me to pause
And rethink my action,
I derive satisfaction
From keeping you under my heel,
It’s the only way I can feel.
