But you can never tell

Which way they will go,

Even though you know

Yourself and trust your skills,

Short stories have wills

Of their own,

As an author I’m blown

Away by my muse,

I know we use

Each other to exist,

Covered in mist

We form worlds from the shadows,

Open the windows

To a new view

Of reality where you

And I can fly Into the limitless sky.
