Defect In Character
by Sam M. Phillips
The disease will progress,
A mess you cannot undo,
No one has a clue
How to cure you
Of this madness.
.
See the white powder?
See you grasp at power?
You are lost;
The cost of excess,
And the distress
You dictate from your tower.
.
You run the schools,
Everyone fools
In your eyes,
Soon to meet their demise
If they don’t follow your rules.
.
The uselessness
Of pointing out your craziness
Is apparent,
The detriment
You cause
To your people
Doesn’t give you pause,
You’re an emotional cripple.
.
Ripple effect,
Defect in character
Of one man
Can cause pain to so many.
