Revered and feared,

Geared for war,

Knowing nothing more,

Stuffing his maw

With blood soup,

Part of a group

Of merciless killers,

Fillers of history’s page

With exploits of rage,

Cage of violence,

Silence any discontent,

Cannot vent voice,

No choice

In matter,

Blood spatter,

Mud splatter,

Flood of matter,

Dripping from brainpan,

Sipping the pain so they can

Keep on ruling,

Drooling over death,

Cruel eyes

And foul breath,

The fool lies

To himself to think

People don’t sink

To such depravity,

The gravity

Of the situation

Is a demonstration

Of the deep pit

In which we sit,

Get down in it,

And live a human life,

Full of violence and strife.
