The storm rages

And the ink flows,

The hand knows

Where to go

Without my ego

Getting in the way,

I let the record play

And say what I need to say,

I have no greed today,

I’m content in every way,

My pen is fluid,

My soul a druid,

Incantations let me rise,

I don’t fear my demise,

All the lies

Outside don’t touch me,

I am inside myself and free.
