I adore pens,

I’m mad about paper,

I love using ink,

I love words,

Writing is bliss,

Thinking makes life worth living,

Books are gods,

Printed type is elemental,

My room is lined with books,

Novels are great spirits,

They resurrect the dead,

Knowledge is power,

I exist in mind,

I am a king,

I am an equal,

I join the pantheon,

I am one with the elders,

They are my brothers,

I’m sure of my path,

I have complete confidence,

It’s strange to think

I felt so lost

Such a short time ago,

But this is the power of writing,

It can remind you who you are,

It can provoke destiny,

It is fate itself.
