It has been a good year,

Lots of fear

Has fallen clear

Of my broken wreckage,

I’m opening my cage,

Unlocking the rage

To use for good,

Like I should,

If only I could

Get to work,

Instead of exposing

The demons which lurk

In my prosing mind.
