Possible To Know

I recorded every experience

Of this one life,

I knew I made a difference.

I catalogued the stages

Of my emotional evolution

On these pages.

.

I was a thought-form,

An enigma,

Yet well-worn.

.

I understood my place in history,

I dedicated myself

To being part of the mystery.

.

I followed no rules

Except those I made for myself,

I was one of these fools.

.

I knew I was at the mercy

Of a benevolent God,

And it never worried me.

.

I was an ego,

Living through animation,

I watched myself grow.

.

In the end,

I knew I wasn’t

Able to bend.

.

So, I went insane,

A way to escape

From my pain.

.

Then I came back to show

The world what is was

Possible to know.
