I just avoided a complete melt,

I used trust to compete with how I felt,

I know I’ve been dealt

This set of cards,

I must use words

To make life bearable,

Luckily, thoughts are shareable,

I’m able to express

The source of my distress:

Which of the two is best?

I cannot decide,

I cannot hide

My confusion,

This situation

Is sure to tear me apart,

I can’t bear the strain on my heart,

I can’t bear the pain of being apart

From either of you,

What am I going to do?
