Write To Sleep

It doesn’t look like I’ll be sleeping,

But at least I’m completing

A little writing,

Lighting up my mind

To see what I can find,

Bind myself to a task,

Ask myself what is real,

How do I feel

About this or that?

Bat around an idea

And draw near

To a solution

Or add to my confusion,

It doesn’t really matter,

As long as I scatter

Some spare energy

So I might finally sleep.
